Valentine's Weekend 2019 was very different from all the ones that have preceded it. It was a showcase for local people to display their skills and it provided an opportunity for people to participate and attempt something new to them.
Michael and Sandy had each set up a studio in the Chancel and encouraged visitors to try their hand at painting and drawing.
Susie worked on her sewing machine amongst examples of her beautiful quilting and sewing.
Tricia had a workshop making greetings cards which proved a fascinating thing to do.
Wendy had a big array of crafts of all sorts that she gets involved in and she was happy to explain how she makes the various articles.
Julie with her lovely knitting display inspired some ladies to learn how to crochet.
Pauline's colouring table always had people sitting round it absorbed in making an attractive picture from her intricate patterns.
Ann was selling tickets for Cecily's jolly parcels whilst Cecily herself was in charge of the raffle.
Jane and Rachael tempted punters to have a go on their tombola table.
Marie and Sara looked after everone's needs with hot drinks and delicious cakes.
And just in case we got too relaxed Other Rachael led us in an exercise class with scarves and balls; it was physically beneficial and mentally hilarious.
Thank you Sara & Fund-raising Team, Crafters & Other Rachael for a fun weekend
