Facsimile Church Records from 1737

This old record book was once lost, together with an earlier one which has never been found. It was used for all the official entries of baptisms, marriages and burials that took place in Clippesby Church up until 1812 when it was decreed that there should be a separate book for each of these sacraments. The "new" Baptism and Burial Registers from 1813 are still in use today and are shown further down the page. The Register of Banns of Marriage from 1832 are shown on the next page
